44th Annual Adelphi History Conference: Legends, Myths, and Reality in History

Michael Barnhart

This year’s Adelphi History Conference will feature Stony Brook University Professor Michael Barnhart, who will speak on “Legends, Myths, and Reality in Recent American Political History.” Professor Barnhart’s talk will be followed by discussion.

Following a short break, meet with a panel of Adelphi faculty:

  • Assistant Professor of History Ed Reno will speak on “Christianity and the Roman Imperial Myth”
  • Associate Professor of Sociology Melanie Bush will speak on “The Contemporary Racial Landscape in the U.S. in the Context of the Modern World”
  • Associate Professor of History Cristina Zaccarini will conclude with “Shaping the Public Discourse: Women, Social Movements and Political Leadership

The panel will also be followed by discussion.
