Lila Woodbridge, October 2017 Student Worker of the Month

The staff of the Office of Information Technology would like to congratulate Lila on her achievements.

Lila is a Communications major and a Psychology minor in the Class of 2020, and a member of the Web Communications team. She’s a member of CALIBER, Psychology Club, Works in Progress and the Student Activities Board.

Here are some of the comments we received from IT staff members and other student workers who nominated her:

“Lila has taken on some new responsibilities lately, and has surpassed our expectations. She has been assisting our team with graphic design work using Photoshop and Illustrator. In addition, she’s broken out of her comfort-zone and learned some new skills in InDesign to assist with IT Marketing initiatives. Obviously, she not afraid to try something new and grow her knowledge-base.”

“Lila is a smart, responsible, hard worker and quick learner who’s quickly made herself indispensable to our team in her first year with us. Although she originally joined us as a web assistant, this semester she’s taken on a lot of the design work to keep our eCampus banners running and has even helped with print design tasks for IT marketing and communications—having her to assist the design team and keep on top of these high-volume requests as been a HUGE help. I’m so grateful we have her to rely on!”

“Lila started with the Web Team as a first-year student in Fall 2016. She quickly mastered our process for web updates, writing search engine optimization, image selection and tagging thousands of photos in our database. This fall, she has taken on duties of designing eCampus banners, so many of the banners you see when you log in to eCampus are from Lila—either working from scratch or trying to modify imagery sent from various departments and clubs. Her work requires little revision and has been a huge asset in helping the Webteam keep up with the barrage of requests. In October, she also began designing some of the print materials IT uses to promote our services. She’s always professional and always on time and reliable.”

“Since Lila started working with us in Fall 2016 she has been a great fit. She is very hardworking and not afraid to ask questions. She has been able to start more design work and has been doing a great job. We are lucky to have her!”

“Lila has been a great worker ever since she started with us during the fall semester. Recently, she has taken on new and different responsibilities that have been a huge help to our team. It’s been great seeing her professional growth.”
