Research Support Group

Let us help you push your research to the next step.

Looking for collegial support for your research and writing?

Need help implementing your research agenda?

Want to be more productive during the semester?

What do you need to finish that article, put the final touches on your latest work, get that grant proposal completed, or submit your IRB application?

The College of Arts and Sciences hosts a semester-based faculty support gathering to usher you to the next step of your research—whatever that step may be.

Though faculty members often imagine that they need big chunks of time to do their research, studies show that consistent attention to a research agenda for short chunks of time leads to more productivity.* Of course, implementation of such a plan is the difficult part. This support group can help.

Meeting every two-to-three weeks will give you the opportunity to check in on your progress, celebrate your achievements, reevaluate your goals, brainstorm to bypass roadblocks, and deal with stress in a supportive environment. Come as often or as little as you like.
